Vanves · Apartment
Softening space through curves
The brief
A gentle recomposition, through curve and colour.
In Vanves, this apartment was structured gently, through curves and a palette of soft colours, off-white and caramel. The bespoke joinery rounds the corners, conceals the storage and guides the flow from one room to the next, while pale oak warms the whole. The space breathes, calm, without losing any of its character.
The studio's response

Bespoke joinery, all in softness
A caramel-lacquered run of joinery dresses an entire wall: its rounded corners soften the volume and conceal the storage, while pale oak warms the whole.

The curve to guide the eye
In the circulation, a run of caramel-lacquered joinery with rounded corners dresses an entire wall and conceals the storage. The curve softens the passage; a curved shelf holds a few chosen pieces. Nothing stops the eye, everything invites you forward.

Colour as an assertion of personality
A turquoise wall, a collection of sunburst mirrors, a lacquered cabinet: the living room takes on a warm and coherent personality. Colour is never gratuitous here: it carries the character of the place.

A corner of one's own, like a cocoon
In the bedroom, away from the bustle of a large family, an armchair draws a quiet aside. Pared-back lines and soft light: a corner made for rest and ease, where you settle in as if into a cocoon.
