Making discretion an art
The brief
Everything that should disappear does, to leave only the rightness.
This apartment in Garches makes discretion an art. Invisible doors, built-in storage and steel glazed partitions organise the space without overloading it, while a terrazzo floor and curved shelving bring softness and material. Everything that should disappear does, to leave only the rightness of the volumes and the quality of the finishes.
The studio's response

The softness of form, the nobility of material
The terrazzo underfoot and the curved shelving temper the rigour of the invisible doors. The softness of the curves and the nobility of the materials give the place a warmth that the lines alone could not produce.

A graphic, masculine bathroom
An integrated vanity top and a black wall-hung unit, a large mirror framed in black, a towel rail and a wall light with clean lines: the bathroom takes on a graphic, masculine stance. The terrazzo floor links this space to the rest of the apartment, in the same rigour of material.
"I called on Olga's studio for the complete renovation of my apartment, and I am entirely satisfied with the result. From the very first meeting, she knew how to listen to my needs, understand my tastes and propose solutions that were beautiful, functional and suited to my budget. The site supervision was exemplary: efficient coordination of the craftspeople and clear, responsive communication throughout the works. The final result exceeds my expectations: a bright, harmonious and perfectly optimised space."
